Claiming Process (Motor Insurance)

To accelerate the claim process (personal accident insurance), please follow the steps below:

1. Call the company immediately. Details to be notified are:

  • Name, policy number, contact number of insured
  • Brand, License plate and Colour of vehicle
  • Driver name
  • Accident place and Cause in brief.

In case the vehicle is moved from accident spot, please notify the company.

 

2. If you are right

  • Record license plate, name, address and contact number of other driver
  • Contact us at 0-2638-9333 immediately
  • Get a “guilty note” from third party on a piece of paper (if the third party accepts their mistake)
  • Record name and address of the witness (if present)
  • If you hold a 'third party' insurance (liable for third party only), the company will send an officer to facilitate the process, and if needed, police will be called. Arrangements for further claim must be done on your own.

 

3. If you are wrong

  • Report to the company.
  • Move your car to the parking area after accepting your fault.
  • In case you are unable contact us, you can give your name, address, contact number and policy number to the third party. Then contact us whenever you can.

 

4. Unclear Cases

  • Report to the police immediately.
  • Do not move your car (unless ordered by police)
  • Notify the company to send a surveyor immediately

 

5. In case of third party escaping the scene

  • Record the license plate of the third party. Then, notify it at police station.
  • Report to the company.

 

6. Car Disappearance

  • Call 191 or local police station
  • Report to the company.
  • Send police report and copy of car registration to us. The company will pay within 15 days after receiving completed documents.

 

7. Vehicle Repair

  • We have partnered garages across the country.
  • Before the repair, please remove all valuable stuff from the car.
  • Before picking up the vehicle, please check. If the repair is not completed, please call us at 0-2638-9333 immediately.
  • After getting the car from the garage. If there are any abnormalities that resulted from repair, please immediately notify the company at 0-2638-9333.
  • In case of an accident, the company will be responsible for the cost of car towing or car care, but not more than 20% of the car repair cost

In case that you want to get the car repaired at the garage of your choice, please inform the related company staff so that the company can negotiate the expenses with the garage. When things are settled and the car is fixed, the insurer will pay the agreed amount.

 

8. In Case of Casualty

  • No matter what the case is (you are right or wrong), bring the casualty to the nearest hospital. If he/she is in a critical condition, please coordinate with the rescue team for moving the injured (contact 1669).
  • The injured can use the primary claiming, the claimable amount lies in Compulsory Motor Insurance (CMI).
  • In case of deductibles, please keep the original/copy of medical certificate.

Guidance for non-motor Claimants

  1. 1. In the event of property damages and/or losses, try to stop and/or reduce damages as much as possible. In case of damages and/or losses due to theft, and/or damages/losses from third party, report the incident to the local police station immediately.

  3. 2. Salvage and keep remains of damages for inspection.

  6. - Claim Notification Letter or filled-in Claim Form
  7. - Copy of I.D. Card of the Insured
  8. - Copy of House Registration of the Insured
  9. - Quotation or Receipt of Damaged Property
  10. - Photo of Incident Location
  11. - Copy of Police Report for related case

  13. 4. Our staffs will survey and investigate the accident place including property damages. The insurer has to prepare documents such as brand name, value, date of purchase etc.

  15. 5. In case of repair by yourself, please propose survey report and quotation of damaged property for consideration at first.

  17. 6. In case of additional damages, please report us immediately and then follow steps 1 and 2 above.

Personal Accident Insurance

1. Process of claiming
  1. 1.1 The insured can get admitted at contract hospital by showing our PA card.
  2. 1.2 In case of any payments by the insured, please contact us

  2. - Claim Notification Letter or filled-in Personal Accident Claim Form
  3. - Medical Receipt (Original)
  4. - Medical Certificate (In case of prolonged treatment, a medical certificate is needed for each claim)
  5. - Copy of Police Report for related case (If any)

  7. 2.2 Claim for dismemberment / loss of sight or total permanent disability
  8. - Claim Notification Letter or filled-in Personal Accident Claim Form
  9. - Medical Receipt (Original)
  10. - Medical Certificate (In case of prolonged treatment, a medical certificate is needed for each claim)
  11. - Copy of Police Report for related case (If any)

  1. Remarks: The above guidelines are only general practice. Consideration of protection and compensation must be based on the conditions in the insurance policy effective at the time the damage caused. The Company may request additional documents or information listed above if necessary and beneficial to the Claim.
